Edinson Argote is a passionate and ambitious coffee producer whose journey reflects a deep commitment to craftsmanship and innovation. His introduction to specialty coffee began at the age of 20, working at a local coffee buying station in Acevedo-Huila, where he discovered a fascination for cupping and sensory analysis. Eager to refine his skills, he pursued training and gained valuable experience working on some of the most innovative coffee farms in Colombia’s Cauca region, eventually leading quality and processing control efforts.
Driven by a vision to create something of his own, Edinson established Quebraditas Coffee Farm, where he and his family cultivate exotic coffee varieties like Gesha, Bourbon Sidra, Ombligon and Laurina. His work embodies a dedication to quality, progress, and family, blending tradition with modern techniques to produce coffees that stand out for their exceptional character and complexity.
